Talking To Friends

Brothers and Sisters,

Five new soul portraits today. So many souls.

I want to try something new. I will write a sentence for each one, describing what I feel when looking at them. Or maybe I’ll just say hello, you are with a friend. I’ll write whatever comes to mind.

I suggest you do the same. Write something too. You can do it for the soul portraits I painted today or for any portraits.  If the soul portrait speaks to you, speak back.

Soul 1,414. Thank you, I’ve had moments of the same, a moment of breath and then life.

Soul 1,415. Thank you, what strong joyous moment are you sharing?

Soul 1,416. Hello, thank you. You see when your eyes are closed, the inner light, and project your happiness to the world.

Soul 1,417. Thank you, you are alert and aware of something approaching, so you stand in the wilderness and care for your flock.

Soul 1,418. Thank you, I know men and women who do the same, work, toil each day for bread and then sleep.

Of course the shepherd could be an Egyptian car mechanic and the toiler could be an opera singer. It’s what you see that is important (and I’m beginning to think critically important).

So go ahead, post a hello to the soul-portraits here or anywhere.
