Brothers and Sisters,
Why do we do it, we live in this world without listening to the music. It is actually very nice music. It is silent but we should know the music is playing. If you are in a room with soundproof earmuffs and see the water in your glass make wave patterns and feel the deep vibration of the floor come up your leg you would know music was playing. The music our souls sing is something we would need to find ways to “hear”.
When I say I love my Arab brother or I love my Arab sister the music is “heard”. Instead of seeing a glass of water vibrate I see a thirsty man drink. When we say I love my Jewish brother or I love my Jewish sister I see a troubled young man choose life over death and a young woman lives. No headlines are in the news.
The dawn awakens us and all the music is playing. I am awake today to see the music.
Yours,
Daniel
