Brothers and Sisters,
There is a Hebrew word that doesn’t translate in one word. I have wanted to use this word. The paintings speak to me about Emunah.
The Hebrew word Emunah – translates as ‘faith’ and so much more – is an innate conviction and trust in G-d.
I’m writing today about the two words together: Emunah and Art.
We have known, almost in a distant memory, these two words together and then forgotten. We have forgotten in a language how to understand Emunah and Art. Arabic, Latin, Hebrew to Zarma – it is unknown.
I hope others will talk about this more. Something has been put aside for too long and it’s time for a new returning. It’s important, I’m working on this.
People who know and speak about Emunah and Art, you’re welcome to jump in. The water has been waiting for us for thousands of years.
