8,710 Soul Paintings to go!

Brother, Sister and Art Critics,

I don’t know why the paintings look as they do. Let me try. It doesn’t matter what the paintings look like, the paintings came to be what they wanted to be. People can and will see in the paintings what they want to see.

This is what I see. The first painting is a “Please” painting, the word is visible lower left.  Here’s another text hint, the words “Please Hold” are perfectly framed but (neatly and nearly) painted out in the box which is a head tefillin on the second portrait (soul portrait 1,289). Why I don’t know.

The tefillin, worn by our Jewish brothers, represents here a miraculous redemption. I also like the tenderness of the words “please hold” on every canvas. As painted it speaks well for the man wearing the tefillin.

We’ll see where this all goes.

Respectfully,

Dan
