The 14 ink soul-portraits above were completed in the unending evening when it was difficult for my husband to find sleep. We talked and held hands, thankful. The sun was setting and the wind was blowing strongly, bending the trees to the ground. To us it seemed as if the trees were bowing and dancing with gratitude and joy and aliveness.
