Dear Brothers and Sisters,
There is so much beauty in the everyday.
It rained this afternoon after a beautiful sunny day. The sun stayed but the rain opened up for a brief time.
I painted and stayed out for the light rain and then left one painting (soul-portrait 2,448) out during the downpour. Things changed.
Sometimes painting and life take their own directions. The unexpected helped build things. The portraits and the paint lines would have been different. The smallest can make large changes. Sometimes being open and not resisting, embracing can take you new directions.
